Freshness professionals for almost 90 years

The company was founded in 1935 as a canning factory in the Principality of Liechtenstein. During the winter months, empty tins were produced, and then in summer the tins were filled with peas, beans, spinach and apple purée. This experience led to the first production of ready-meals almost 30 years later. Today, natural, quality ingredients form the basis of all Hilcona products, with the company attaching significant value to the origin and cultivation of its ingredients. Hilcona relies on 500 farmers from the region as its partners – and has done for more than 80 years in many cases.
