CURRY PASTES straight from Thailand

Gone are the days when Thai curry pastes were a rarity in European kitchen cupboards. YELLOW CURRY PASTE is somewhat milder than the hotter red and green curry pastes. The chilis it contains are less spicy, and it’s a typical yellowish brown in color.

All of the curry pastes from COCK are very versatile.

To make a marinade, simply add a little warm liquid to one of the pastes, stir and use to marinate tofu, seitan or vegan alternatives to meat.

To use in soups, sauces or with soy chunks, simply sweat the sauce briefly in a saucepan or frying pan before adding liquid. For an absolute classic, combine it with coconut milk to make a curry: the sweetness of the coconut harmonizes wonderfully with the heat from the curry paste.
