For over 30 years, the organic pioneers at SOTO have been producing vegan specialities strictly from ecological ingredients – by hand and with passion. What started out in 1980 with the production of tofu for personal consumption in an organic rural flat share has now diversified into extensive plant-based organic nutrition. Inspired by international vegan delicacies, produced with regional vegetables and infrastructure – from traditional falafel and samosas through to spring rolls and burgers. Less is more – the sustainable SOTO principle

If sustainable, natural and regional food is important to you, SOTO is the right vegan supplier for you. SOTO concentrates on what's important, i.e. what nature has to offer us: vegetables, fruit, grains, pulses, seeds and nuts. All that’s added to this is SOTO’s own spice mixes, salt from the Bavarian Alps and a little sunflower oil. No artificial additives, no elaborate preparation.

The 100% organic origin of all ingredients at SOTO is assured not least by the regionality of its agricultural partner company. Whether carrots, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, beans and chickpeas, lentils, tofu, pumpkins or sweet potatoes – they all come from organic farms from the immediate region.

Sustainable production and cycles

Did you know? SOTO products are produced using green electricity from its own photovoltaic system and hydropower. Many of the machines also contribute to heat recovery, with excess heat supplying neighbouring buildings with energy. What's more, SOTO is committed to ensuring the recyclability of its packaging and where its goods have a use-by-date which is too soon for wholesale, it offers these in its factory outlet. An all-round success!
