Not only does Weinhaus Krauss produce red, white and rosé mulled wines, it also makes Glögg, a Scandinavian mulled wine best served with almonds and raisins, and HejHo, a Hugo, best enjoyed hot at home by the fire or chilled on the terrace in summer with its warm herbal, elderflower notes. Wines from the Zeller Valley Where sustainability meets flavour, where organic farming meets regional business, and where traditional winegrowing meets modern cellar technology. From the vine to the bottle – these wines are the product of craftsmanship of the highest level. A family-run company in its fifth generation, Weinhaus Krauss looks back on a long agricultural history. And, since 1982, a history in organic wine too. Since the start of the eighties, the winery has been run in strict accordance with the principles of organic farming and a member of the Bioland farming association. The winery is deeply rooted in the region around the Zeller Valley – a responsibility that flows into every wine it produces. We guarantee the same high Palatine Zeller Valley and Rheinhessen quality for every vintage to date. Organic and vegan – naturally. As a staunch opponent of genetic engineering, Weinhaus Krauss refrains from using any genetically engineered treatment substances whatsoever in its refinement process. The absence of protein-containing substances during its winegrowing process makes its wines vegan, too.

Fabulas Foeminae Pinto Grigio Terre di Chieti, Organic, 0.75l
Alcohol content: 13% Vol. Wine type: White wine Grape variety: Pinot Grigio Flavor: dry Drinking temperature: 9°C - 11°C Origin: Italia Organic wine in Demeter quality Pinot Grigio is a bud mutation of Pinot Noir. Its origins can be traced back to Germany and France. Its characteristic grey colour tends slightly towards pink, and its taste is as fabled as the region itself. A white wine that’s as fresh, intense and delicious as the natural environment that produced it. Perfect with starters, fish alternatives or white meat alternatives. Intertwined with nature, the land and legend The vineyards of the Fabulas winery are located in the Pretoro municipality in the Majella national park. Legend has it that, at one time, seven female warriors called the Majellane lived in this region. Every bottle of Fabulas is evocative of one of these seven women and the magic of this region: from the legend of the Goddess Maja to its traditional folk songs. A legendary natural environment that produces legendary wine. Discover sparkling white wines, full-bodied or sweet red wines or a fruity rosé wine. Legendary organic-quality wines Influenced by the mountain massif that gives the national park its name, the region is characterised by major temperature fluctuations from day to night – ideal conditions for the quality of the grapes. The result? A higher sugar content, less acid degradation and improved flavour characteristics. Having said that, winegrowing at these altitudes requires more attentive care. That is why all processing phases – from pruning to harvesting – are performed by hand. A unique level of attention to detail you can really taste. Tied to the region and tradition Fabulas wines are grown and produced in line with Demeter standards. The idea behind the biodynamic method is to achieve a balance between earth, agriculture and human wellbeing, which in turn serves to preserve and promote biodiversity. Also certified as a “Biodiversity Friend”, not only does Fabulas promote the quality of the wines, but it also fosters soil fertility and the conservation of the habitat. The vineyard is dotted with clusters of trees and shrubs. The soil is cyclically dug up and sown with mixed seeds of cereals, flowers, clover and rapeseed, which, together with the compost, provide an ideal breeding ground for the vines. Even the yeasts responsible for the fermentation process come specifically from the pollen of the local flora and thus directly from the ecosystem of the vineyard. The wines couldn't be any more connected to their territory. You can taste the quality!
