Organic-quality traditional fare
Organic vegan ready meals and meat alternatives, that’s what Tessbrüder is known for nationwide. But the brand stands for so much more regionally in southern Germany. Alongside high-quality purely plant-based food production, the family company runs four organic restaurants and an organic hotel – all based on the concept of an economy for the common good. Its aim is not solely economic success, but an enterprise that instils values like human dignity, human rights and environmental responsibility directly and tangibly in the community. A good life is the measure of success here. And that's something the Tess brothers campaign for with their delicious products too.
Demeter quality since 1950
You could say the four Tess brothers were born with the environmental pioneer gene. Back in 1950, their grandfather Johannes Tess adapted their home farm in Hayingen-Ehestetten to a demeter model of farming in line with a dynamic, organic philosophy – a milestone for the region. So growing up on the organic farm saw the four Tessbrüder brothers shaped by sustainability in the truest sense of the word. Hard work, cohesion and a forward-thinking approach to work in harmony with nature. Those are values the four learned early on in life – values that continue to influence the company to this day.
Company values you can taste
Organic-quality traditional fare is the Tess house’s speciality. The substantial meat alternatives are ready-to-eat and taste as deliciously hearty as you’d expect for a wholesome family meal. Whether vegan meatballs in a hearty dark sauce or vegan currywurst – here you’ll find full flavour, full indulgence and zero meat. We say... they pass the Tess test!
