Zeevi, you could say, is something like the prince of the chickpea in our vegan brand range. The Berlin-based company was founded by Zeevi Chaimovitch, Jörn Gutowski and Markus Treiber. Together, they work in their Berlin manufactory to bring the delicious vegan recipes from the Middle East to the table here too. Why? Because the dishes are not only incredibly tasty, but also good for people and the environment. Zeevi is committed to a "Planetary Health Diet". And is well on the way with her chickpea products.
The best of chickpeas - local and organic
The specially developed Kofu - a tofu made from chickpeas - is an excellent, nutritious alternative to conventional soy products. Zeevi sources the chickpeas from an organic farmer in Saxony-Anhalt. They are ground in the factory and processed with a lot of love and craftsmanship.
A dream team for the chickpea
The founders' expertise comes together in the best possible way. Zeevi brought with him a very successful hummus recipe from his home country of Israel, in addition to his traditional knowledge of preparing vegan chickpea dishes; Markus already produced his own tofu (Treiber Tofu) in Berlin, and Jörn brought his unique knowledge of the industry as the founder of Try Foods.
