The mild nutty lentil does not have to be soaked which makes it perfect for quick cooking! For soups and sauces, as purée, for meatless patties or for a quick to prepare curry dish.
Usage: For soups, sauces, purees and patties. Very good for Indian cooking.
Preparation: Wash the lentils under running water. Cook at low temperature 1 cup of red lentils with about 2 cups of water for 20 minutes.
IMPORTANT: Don’t add salt until after cooking! So the lentils keep their beautifully round form.
