The traditional North African cereal is easy to digest, popular for children meals and versatile! Chickpeas are an ideal addition, but couscous tastes also very good with vegetables or piquant vegetable sauces.

Basic recipe: Bring 250 g of couscous to the boil with approx. 375 ml of soya-/ rice-/ oat milk or water, take from the stove plate and let soak for 5-10 min.

Production: Wheat semolina of controlled organic cultivation is mixed with water and blanched for 10 minutes, after that the mixture is dried at approx. 100° Celsius for 20 minutes. This process is repeated one more time.
